Q. Does it cost anything to participate in or download a clubcast?
No, all clubcasts are free of charge.
Q. Do I need special software to participate in the clubcasts?
Periodically, I may schedule a Clubcast episode live so that listeners can ask the expert questions. To join our live clubcasts by phone, no software is needed.  Simply dial the number listed in the clubcast description and enter the talkcast ID# which is also listed in the description.  Then hit 1#.  However, if you wish to participate through your computer and/or view or chat on the IM screen during the broadcast, you will need to sign-up with TalkShoe and download their software.  Installation is easy and only takes a couple of minutes.
Q. Do long distance charges apply when participating in a live clubcast?
If you join us by telephone, the same charges will apply as with any other call according to your long distance plan.  There is no charge if you join us using the TalkShoe software on your computer.
Q. Can I just listen to the live clubcasts without talking?
Yes, participation is not required. However, there is a chat screen for those who want to express an opinion or ask a question and would rather type than talk.  But you will need to be logged into TalkShoe to view the chat screen.
Q. Do I use the telephone or computer to participate in live clubcasts?
You can use whichever you prefer.  But even if you use the telephone you can still connect to the chat screen using your computer providing you have downloaded the TalkShoe software.
Q. How often are new clubcasts available?
Clubcasts are done randomly and at different days and times depending on what is convenient for the guest speaker.  All times of clubcasts listed are Eastern Time.
Q. Can you notify me of new clubcasts?
Yes, a newsletter is sent to those who request it notifying them of upcoming clubcasts along with a description of the topic and the name of the guest speaker.  You may also subscribe to RSS feeds. Request your newsletter here.
Q. If I can’t make a clubcast live, is there a way for me to listen to it at another time?
Clubcasts are archived on the site and available for download at anytime. Once you choose an episode, click on the player just beneath the description to hear it immediately. In addition, you can download the episode to your PC by clicking the download link and even upload it to your iPod or other MP3 device.
Q. As a participant is there anything required of me?
We ask that you are courteous and respectful to others in your posts and discussions and refrain from attacking others and using profanity.
Q. Do I need to become a member of Club DEB?
Membership in Club DEB only means adding your name and email address when commenting. This is necessary in an effort to keep away trolls and spammers so that we can have a comfortable as possible environment for members to post and participate.  By doing what we can to keep the club environment troll-free, we protect the integrity of the club and its members.
Q. What religious affiliation is Club DEB?
Club DEB has no specific religious affiliation. However, it is based on Judeo-Christian values and beliefs.

Q. What does the ‘A’ rating mean?
An ‘A’ rating means that content is acceptable for all audiences. ‘PC’ means to exercise parental control.
