Published by jbog on Tagged WelcomeIn the 1940s families sat together listening to radio broadcasts. Now we grab our PC or iPod and listen to downloadable podcasts. Club DEB has its own informational podcasts, which I like to call Clubcasts. On each show I interview an expert on a topic in order to inform, encourage or inspire you. In addition to the informative Clubcasts, Club DEB also sponsors a Weekly Radio Show. Every Friday a panel and I discuss real topics for real women. We cover a variety of topics and discuss them from a Christian perspective no matter how “uncomfortable” a topic may be. We hope you will join us by listening in. Check out the PRISMS website also. They are the place to go to for SMS information. There is a link to their site in the right sidebar.

I just read “Diane’s Story” and cannot wait until you complete the interview with this courageous woman. It is apparent that she loves her little guy every bit as much as we who have healthy children love ours. Maybe she even appreciates the daily progress he makes more than we do the progress of our children. Good essay Diane, and thank you for writing it.

I know what you mean. This sentence in particular got to me: “Again, it was as if God was over my shoulder saying, “Diane, look at him; open your eyes and your heart and accept the gift I am giving you.” I choked up when reading it.
