Measuring Your Self-Worth
Published by jbog on Tagged Radio ShowAT LAST THE TIME IS HERE! We are finally launching our new radio show! In this weeks’ show the Club DEB panel and I discuss self-confidence and where it comes from. As women, we often measure our self-worth by what others think of us. We did a poll on this a few weeks back, and we shared those results in this weeks’ show. Click the play button below to listen in as Alane, Tammie, Carol and I discuss God’s love for us, and how believing that can help us with the self-esteem issues with which we often struggle. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on this issue that is ever so significant in every women’s life. Hope you enjoy!

It is not surprising to me that women tended to not feel that being desirable to the man in their life was number one. There is an old adage out there that says that women really dress and care for their appearance to please other women, not men. I think that women really are most flattered when their significant others notice their capability and their brains. That is certainly when I feel most flattered, when someone compliments me in those areas. Maybe a young woman, in her 20s, would care more what the opposite gender thinks, but a more mature (emotionally and physically) feels differently.
